GPS is not a program. GPS is a process whereby everyone at ECF is challenged to do three things each week. Number one is we encourage everyone to attend our Sunday service. During that time people are able to begin or deepen in their relationship with Jesus. They experience dynamic worship and relevant teaching of the Word. They see the community of believers and are encouraged to go deeper by moving to the next step. Step number two in the process is to connect people with people. This is done through small groups that meet throughout the week and through our Wednesday evening Growth and Connection Night. People may go to a weekend service faithfully but if they never connect to a small group, their spiritual growth stagnates. In a small group you will grow deeper as you systematically study the Word and relate interpersonally with others. You actually get to know and to be known! Our small groups are launched twice each year and you may connect with a group at any time. Step number three is to connect to ministry or serving others. In a ministry team you will experience the joy of God working through you as you serve others in tangible ways. There are many serving opportunities at ECF as well as outreach opportunities that demonstrate to the world that our faith is real and relevant. Jesus stated that he came to serve and to minister to others (Mt 20:28). As you participate in a ministry team, you will deepen in you awareness of the needs around you and experience the joy that outflows from service to others.10 Basic Core Values
