Dear Church Family, Recently we learned how important it is to have a clear vision. Habakkuk 2:2 says… “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it”. A “clear vision” allows everyone to “run together” and to participate in bringing the vision to pass. Wayne Gretsky, arguably the greatest hockey player in history, was once asked about his secret for continuing to lead the national hockey league in goals. Gretsky replied, “I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.” What a great concept. Always we must look ahead to the opportunities before us! Our mission is to connect all within our broadening sphere of influence with God, People and Serving. We are cooperating with Jesus as he builds his church. “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt 16:18). An update on Under One Roof First of all, a “BIG Thank You” to each of you who are regularly sowing into Under One Roof. God sees and will reward every sacrifice and every seed you have sown. It is vital that we eliminate all debt, but especially the $70,000 second mortgage must be removed before January of 08’. That is when our main mortgage transitions from the current construction phase payments to full monthly payments. This will be a $4000 per month mortgage increase. (Remember, the 6% interest rate is unchanged. We just are required to pay more on the principal). Here’s why rolling up our sleeves and getting at this is important. Our current sound system is outdated. A proper upgrade will cost approximately $50,000. We have an awesome opportunity to affect many lives through anointed and powerful Sunday services. Good sound is vital! Here’s God’s promise to us: “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). There is no mountain too high that faith and action cannot blast away! Everyone cannot give thousands of dollars, but everyone can have willingness and desire to participate! Thank you for your faithfulness in giving. Faith and action will always win the day! Again, let me remind you of 6 specific promises God makes to you, the sower. “Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house; and thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts... 1.
